Girl Scouts will host a number of recruitment events at local schools in August. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri offers leadership opportunities for kids of all ages from 5 and up.

- John Weldon Elementary School, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 27, cafeteria
- Heritage Primary School, 7 p.m. Sept. 4
- St. Patrick Catholic School, 7 p.m. Sept. 4
- Duello Elementary School, 7 p.m. Sept. 19
- Discovery Ridge Elementary School, 7 p.m. Sept. 19.Â
