Holt, Timberland Named to Top High Schools List

Both high schools in the Wentzville School District—Holt High School and Timberland High School—were named to to a list of the nation's top high schools by U.S. News & World Report.

Of the 142 Missouri high schools named to the list, both schools received a bronze medal rating.

U.S. News & World Report reviewed more than 21,000 schools across the country for its ratings list, analyzing each school by student performance on reading and math assessments, and then figuring in student/teacher ratios and college readiness to determine national rankings.

Holt High School was awarded a bronze medal in the 2012 rankings, the only St. Charles County School to do so.
