Lake Saint Louis Police Blotter: DWIs, Violating an Order of Protection

The following information was supplied by the Lake Saint Louis Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, August 31

• At 8:12 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on South Henke Road for a driver failing to maintain a single lane. A 54-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated or in a drugged condition. The driver refused a blood test.

• At 2:20 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on I-70 at Route A for failing to maintain a single lane. A 37-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and with a suspended license. The driver refused a breath test.
• An officer stopped a vehicle at 2:39 a.m. for exceeding the posted speed limit (77 in a 65-mph zone) on I-64 near Hwy. DD. A 51-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated, chronic offender, with a .193 percent blood-alcohol content. The driver was also illegally in possession of a handgun.
• A 24-year-old driver was issued a summons for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Rue de Paix at 1:16 p.m.
• An officer conducted a traffic stop at 4:32 p.m. on westbound I-70 at Lake Saint Louis Boulevard and issued the driver several summonses, one of which was for driving while revoked.

• An officer responded to the 1100 block of Boars Head Court at 12:16 p.m. in reference to street signs that were found.
• At 12:28 p.m., a severely injured animal was euthanized by a police officer in the 6300 block of Ronald Reagan Drive.
• A 23-year-old female was arrested on an active warrant at Centre on the Lake at 11:42 p.m.

• Officers responded to the Jennings Police Department at 12:40 a.m. to take custody of a 27-year-old male for an active warrant.
• An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Civic Center Drive at 8:31 a.m. The driver was placed under arrest on an active warrant from Dardenne Prairie.
• An officer met with a subject in the police station lobby at 3:57 p.m. about an ex-boyfriend violating an order of protection. The case is under investigation.
• A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 6000 block of Ronald Reagan Drive at 5:39 p.m. A minor injury was reported.
• A 30-year-old male was arrested on I-64 near Lake Saint Louis Boulevard at 11:57 p.m. on traffic charges.
