Wentzville Gas Station Goes Green
A second Wentzville U-Gas station on Hwy. Z will follow suit.

Wentzville's two U-Gas stations have "gone green" by installing solar energy panels on the roofs of their canopies.
The station on Wentzville Parkway already has its panels in operation and the U-Gas on Hwy. Z will soon follow.
The solar panels at the Wentzville Parkway station represent an investment of $103,709, but with Ameren rebates and federal solar tax credits, the total net system cost was only $22,616.
The U-Gas Highway Z total net system investment, after the rebates and grants, will be even less—$21,041, and it's expected to return $247,488 over the next 25 years.
