Wentzville Man Injured After Truck Strikes Telephone Pole

Michael D. Renz, 54, of Wentzville, was injured in a one-car crash Saturday night.

Renz was driving a 2005 Ford F150 southbound on Highway 94 at Highway 47 at 9:10 p.m. when he struck a telephone pole, crossed through the intersection and went off the roadway. 

Renz sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Washington. He was not wearing a safety device, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

The truck was totaled in the crash.
