Wentzville Man Killed in Lincoln County Motorcycle Accident

Daniel P. Kopp, 51, of Wentzville, was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Kopp was traveling southbound on Route J, just south of Pear Tree Road at 4:40 p.m. on a 2002 Yamaha FZ1 when he failed to negotiate a curve to the left. 

The motorcycle went off the right side of the road and overturned. Kopp was ejected and the motorcycle struck a fence. 

Kopp was taken to Lincoln County Medical Center and was pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m.
