With complaints about speeding in neighborhoods mounting, the Wentzville Board of Aldermen are taking a look at a possible ordinance that would designate certain streets as double-fine zones. Patch previously reported 11 streets that were identified as problem areas. Some of our Facebook followers disagreed.Â
Kathleen Murphy Lang With a couple of exceptions, the roads on the list are not the ones where kids are riding bikes in the street or playing. 45 on West Meyer is not dangerous...but even 30 mph on Perry Cate or Wall is risky. The biggest problem is on the little neighborhood streets themselves, where it's almost impossible to catch speeders.
Rosa Montalbano-Ramsey This current list of roads are NOT roads our homeowners are complaining about!! These are NOT the roads that our children ride bikes on, cross regularly to go play at their friends homes nor do our children play in the cul-de-sacs off of these roads.Â
