When Will It Be Done and 4 Other Things to Know About Hwy. Z Improvements

The Missouri Department of Transportation and Magruder Contracting have begun road improvements on Route Z from Interstate 70 to Route D. 

• Motorists should be aware of single lane closures weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and nighttime single lane closures from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. 
• The project includes resurfacing, adding shoulders and correcting curves along the route. 
• The entire distance is just over seven miles.  
• This project is expected to be completed summer 2014.
