Sewer Charges Now Included On Missoula City Utility Bills

Sewer customers will no longer receive a separate wastewater bill every 6 months.

Beginning with the February billing cycle, all charges for City water, sewer (wastewater), and storm water utilities will appear on one convenient, combined utility bill. Sewer customers will no longer receive a separate wastewater bill every 6 months (every 3 months for commercial customers). Some benefits to our utility customers include:

  • Sewer charges are assessed for only one month of service per bill instead of six months;
  • Customers receive only one monthly bill to pay for all City utility charges;
  • Payment options are available that were not previously available for wastewater bill payments (direct debit, paperless billing); and
  • Customers can now view their utility bill online for water, wastewater, and storm water charges.

Customers will be charged for only the water, storm water, and wastewater services they are currently signed up for.
