HR Nebraska is the liaison between SHRM National, Nebraska's local chapters, and Nebraska's broader HR community.  HR Nebraska provides essential and comprehensive resources to local chapters, and promotes professional growth opportunities for individual practitioners.  Through such efforts, HR Nebraska ensures that HR is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.

Vision - In conjunction with our local chapters, the council strategically advances the HR profession and empowers leaders.

The HR Nebraska State SHRM Conference is known as one of midwest's best industry events for HR professionals. Join us and learn how HR leaders are reacting to protect, develop, and add value to their employees and employers! HR leaders have never been in a better position to adapt to challenges, oversee the new world of remote work, drive engagement, maintain a healthy workforce and drive innovation.

HR Nebraska knows that the demands on HR professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic have been monumental. We also know that your department's focus will be on the safety and wellbeing of your employees as we move through 2021. Because engaging in non-essential travel might not be an option for many in the HR community, we have moved this year's conference virtual over three one-half day sessions. Registrants will have the opportunity to receive recertification credits for SHRM and Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) designations. The conference will include real time sessions, with the full conference being available on-demand for up to 90 days.
