The Omaha Botanical Center offers family-friendly classes and workshops for those with particularly green thumbs. You'll learn from master gardeners and leave Lauritzen with a unique take-home craft that you made yourself.

See what Omaha's creative community has been working on over Labor Day weekend at the historic Old Market. First Friday Old Market runs from 6-9 p.m., and attendees can peruse various art galleries and museums or climb aboard the beloved Ollie the Trollie for a free ride. First Friday attendees can also enjoy free live music at various stages dispersed throughout Omaha's historic arts district.
Ready for Omaha's annual air show? Watch the region's best radio control pilots as they take to the skies, soaring above the heads of Omaha natives. The whole family can enjoy this aerial performance and observe a number of different model aircrafts like drones and helicopters. Concessions will be available for purchase.

You can share your event for free to three Patches, or if you really want to get the community's attention, you can pay $20 to feature your event. When an event is featured, it receives priority placement on the local calendar as well as on your Patch's homepage, article pages and in the daily newsletter (if available) the week before the event.
