Locals Breathe for Lung Health, Sip Brews for a Cure

Today, the American Lung Association in Nebraska announced the second annual LUNG FORCE Breathe & Brew Yoga Series at Scriptown Brewing on March 19, April 16 and May 14.

Each event will include a 60-minute yoga class with a certified yoga instructor and afterward all participants will celebrate with a pint of local beer.

“Whether you're new to yoga, new to beer, new to both, or a seasoned pro, join us for a fun fundraiser to benefit the Lung Association and help everyone breathe a little better,” said Julia McCarville, the executive director of the Lung Association in Nebraska.

Tickets for one event costs $27, two events cost $50 and all three events cost $75. Each event includes the yoga class and one pint of beer. Almost 90 cents of every dollar raised from the LUNG FORCE Breathe & Brew will fund the Lung Association’s ongoing support of education, research and advocacy in finding a cure for lung disease.
