Nebraska PGA Member Elected to the PGA Board of Directors
Greg Neujahr is Representing the Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska PGA Sections

Greg Neujahr, PGA Director of Golf at Champions Run in Omaha, Nebraska, has joined the PGA Board of Directors as District 8 Director for the PGA of America. He was elected today to the PGA Board of Directors at the 104th PGA Annual Meeting, held virtually for the first time ever. Neujahr will serve a three-year term, representing the Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska PGA Sections.
The PGA Board of Directors is composed of the Association’s President, Vice President, Secretary, Honorary President and 17 Directors. The Directors include representatives from each of the PGA’s 14 Districts, two Independent Directors and a member of the PGA Tour. New District Directors are elected by their local PGA Sections.
Neujahr, now in his 20th year as the PGA Director of Golf at Champions Run, has committed himself to governance at the Section level, serving as President, Vice President and Secretary for the Nebraska PGA Section from 2008-’13. He also led the Nebraska PGA Foundation from 2015-’19, ascending from Vice President to President. Previously, Neujahr served on the Section’s Membership, Employment, Tournament and Junior Golf Committees.

“The PGA of America is led by some of the most talented PGA Members in the world, who are elected by their peers and volunteer their time to serve on the PGA Board of Directors,” said newly elected PGA President Jim Richerson. “It is truly an honor to serve alongside these dedicated leaders, whose knowledge, insight and expertise will help direct and guide our Association in the years ahead.”
An accomplished player, Neujahr, an 11-time member of the Nebraska Cup Team, won the 2018 Nebraska Senior PGA Section Championship. He also has received numerous honors and accolades from the Section including: the 2019 and 2007 Bill Strausbaugh/Club Relations Award; 2012 Golf Professional of the Year; and the 1998 and 1997 Nebraska PGA Section Junior Golf Leader award.
“It’s truly an honor to have this opportunity to represent my fellow PGA Members as the new District 8 Director,” said Neujahr. “I’m excited to work with this very distinguished board to continue growing the PGA of America in a positive direction.”

A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Neujahr resides in Omaha, with his wife, Dawn, who is also a PGA Professional. They have two children, Mitch and Connor, who both attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
