Southwest Plane Slides Off Runway At Omaha Airport
The plane was carrying 150 passengers and six crewmembers.

OMAHA, NE — A Southwest Airlines flight headed from Las Vegas to Omaha slid off the runway upon landing in Omaha, according to airline and airport officials.
"A Southwest Airlines aircraft is off the end of Runway 14R after landing at Eppley Airfield," the airport said in a statement. "There are no injuries and airport fire crews are working with Southwest to deplane the passengers and take them to the terminal."
Southwest Airlines said in a short statement posted to Twitter that the plane landed safely and "slid onto a runway overrun area while taxiing."

Customers were able to get off the aircraft and no injuries were reported. The plane was carrying 150 passengers and six crewmembers, Southwest said.
The airport was closed after the incident but has since reopened. However, airport officials said passengers should check their flight status with airlines as there may still be some flight delays.

Photos sent to local media outlets showed snow blanketing the ground where the plane came to a rest.
