Divers Recover Body Of Woman Killed In Lake Havasu Boat Accident
Jennifer Renee Martin was killed Saturday. Her body was recovered Tuesday morning.
Divers recovered the body of a woman killed Saturday in a boat accident on Lake Havasu. Jennifer Renee Martin, 31, was located in about 43 feet of water, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.
Martin was on a 35-foot Nordic twin motorboat when it flipped on the water Saturday night.
A good Samaritan saw what happened and picked several people out of the water including a 51-year-old man, Bruce Buchanan, from Redondo Beach, California.

Buchanan and at least one other person was brought to the London Bridge Beach where they were met by members of the Lake Havasu City Fire Department and the Lake Havasu City Police Department.
CPR was taken over by public safety officials, who later brought Buchanan to Havasu Regional Medical center where he died.

Officials learned that Martin had been on the boat as well and started a search for her.

The boat was found near Spectator Point where it had clearly run on to shore at a high rate of speed, according to the sheriff's office.
The search continued until Tuesday morning when deputies using a side-scan sonar device and confirmed with a remote operated submarine and an onboard camera that the target was a body.
Her body was recovered around 7:15.
