Lake Mead Missing Man Found Dead

The body - believed to be that of 22-year-old Wlmer Morales - was found in 75 feet of water.

The mystery of what happened to 22-year-old Wilmer Morales, who went missing while at Lake Mead National Recreation Area on Friday, may be over. Officials say they found a body in clothing matching the description of what Morales was wearing in 75 feet of water on Thursday.

The rangers found the body soon after they started Thursday's searches.

They had been using a remote-operated underwater vehicle with a sonar and a camera.

Morales, a church intern in henderson, was reported missing by friends late Friday afternoon.

The Clark County Coroner will do an autopsy to determine how he died and that it was Morales.
