A Nevada man faces life in prison after he reportedly pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
WELLS, NV -- A Nevada man faces life in prison after he reportedly pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. The Elko Daily Free Press reported Jonathan Martinez, 21, communicated with the girl via the social media website for months.
"Martinez was arrested June 29 at a casino in Wells on a warrant charging one count of sexual assault on a child under 14 and one count of lewdness with a child under the age of 14," the Elko Daily Free Press reported.
The news site said Martinez met the girl in May when he sexually assaulted her.

"After the assault, the victim stated he threatened her with 'consequences' if she told anyone," the news site reported.
