Anthony Wrobel Arrested In Texas: LVMPD
The man police say shot and killed a woman at Sunset Park in Las Vegas Sunday night has been arrested in Texas, police said Thursday.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said on Thursday that Anthony Wrobel, the man suspected of murdering a Venetian executive and shooting another Sunday evening, has been arrested in Texas.
LVMPD tweeted Thursday morning that Texas law enforcement brought Wrobel into custody near Vega, TX.
On Tuesday, the FBI issued a federal arrest warrant for Wrobel on suspicion that he fled Nevada to avoid the crime.

UPDATE (12:30 p.m.): Police say early Thursday morning an Oldham County Sheriff Department deputy checked the registration of a Cadillac DeVille at a rest stop in Vega, TX, that showed the plates were reported stolen from Utah. Deputies found Wrobel inside the car. The car's VIN turned up records that showed it belonged to Wrobel, who was identified and arrested.
Wrobel will be extradited to Las Vegas after being arraigned on fugitive charges, police said.
