CCSD Superintendent Candidates To Be Interviewed Friday
Six candidates to become the next superintendent of Clark County School District will interview for the position on Friday, April 27.

LAS VEGAS, NV - On Friday. the Clark County School District Board of Trustees will interview six candidates to become the next superintendent of the country's fifth largest school district. The interviews will be conducted inside the board room of the Edward A. Greer Education Center and will be open to the public.
The Board of Trustees will interview three external candidates as well as three internal candidates. The external candidates were identified by Ray & Associates, a group that specializes in executive leadership for education positions. The external candidates are Donald T. Haddad, Jesus F. Jara, and Shonda Huery Hardman.
Ray & Associates did not identify and internal candidates among the group of final candidates they presented to the Board of Trustees. During an April 11 meeting, the Board voted to expand the list of finalists to include internal candidates. The three internal candidates are Mike Barton, Jesse Welsh, and Eva White.

Timeline
- Friday, April 27: Candidates will be interviewed at 9 a.m. at the Greer Education Center on 2832 E. Flamingo Rd.
- Saturday, April 28: A community meeting will allow the public to meet the candidates and ask questions at 10 a.m. at the Greer Education Center. Questions can be asked in person or submitted to superintendentsearch@nv.ccsd.net
- Wednesday, May 2: The Board of Trustees will vote on a new superintendent at the Greer Education Center at 8 a.m. This meeting is open to the public.
