LAS VEGAS, NV - The Clark County School District Board of Trustees will decide how many candidates to interview for the school district's superintendent position during a work session on Wednesday.

The deadline to file for candidacy was March 15. The 8 a.m. meeting on April 4 will determine how many candidates will make it to the interview process, which begins on April 12. The interviews will be open to the public and be streamed at www.ccsd.net. The interviews will be followed by community meetings on April 13 and 14.

The candidates will be looked at over the next few weeks and the Board of Trustees will make an offer to one on April 18. Outgoing CCSD Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky is retiring from the position in June.
