Centennial High School Wins Varsity Football Season Opener
Centennial 32 - Sierra Vista 26
The Sierra Vista Mountain Lions jumped out to a 19-0 lead at the end of the first quarter over the Centennial Bulldogs. Centennial kept chipping away at the score, making it 19-10 at halftime. With less than a minute left in the game, the Sierra Vista runner fumbled the ball which was recovered by Linebacker #24 Nate Conger, who sprinted into the end zone for a game winning touchdown.
