Charleston Heights Arts Center Grand Re-Opening This Weekend
After $2.1 million in renovations, the Charleston Heights Arts Center in Las Vegas is ready to re-open.
LAS VEGAS, NV - The Charleston Heights Arts Center in Las Vegas is having a grand re-opening on Feb. 10, and you're invited. The free open house on Saturday will feature music, theater and dance performances, a tour of the renovated facility, and more.
The building has been around since 1978, when it was originally a library and arts center.
The Arts Center recently underwent over $2 million of renovations. The building now has a new roof, renovated bathrooms, additional classrooms, new ceilings, new paint, new carpets, and five new air conditioners. The building was also brought up to code for fire safety and gas service was added. Audio systems in the theater were also replaced.
