Child In Critical Condition After Being Hit In Parking Lot

LAS VEGAS, NV - A 2-year old girl is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in the parking lot of St. Rose Pediatrics Monday afternoon, police said.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the child was walking between parked vehicles with her mother when she walked into the path of a moving car in the parking lot. The child was struck by the right side of the vehicle. According to the incident report, a 2-year old and a 6-month old were also present with the mother and were not injured. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and reported the collision to police.

The child was transported to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
