Cookie Order Precedes Robbery, Police Say

After ordering a cookie, a man robbed a business, Metro police said.

LAS VEGAS, NV - A man robbed a business on Sierra Vista Dr. and Maryland Pkwy. but not before he ordered a cookie first, police said.

According to a release from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, a suspect described as a "light skinned black male adult" between the ages of 25-30 entered the business and ordered a cookie. When the manager put the cookie in the bag and rang up the transaction, the suspect produced a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
