Data: New Chart Shows Median Salary on Men & Women at Every Age

Data gives further insight into pay inequality.

It’s no secret that men make more than women. But some new data reveals some interesting findings with regard to that gap and expectation about pay.

Using Census Bureau data compiled by the Minnesota Population Center, Business Insider and HowMuch.Net, they found the median income for male and female full-time US workers at each year of age.

The wage gap for 18-year-olds is about $2,000 per year, and it grows to $16,000 per year by age 65.
