Longest Drought In Las Vegas History Has Ended
For the first time since last September, rain has been officially recorded in the Las Vegas valley, ending a record drought of 116 days.

LAS VEGAS, NV - After 116 days, rain has finally fallen on the Las Vegas valley.
The longest dry spell in Las Vegas history ended on Monday when rain was officially recorded at McCarran International Airport, according to the National Weather Service.
Before Monday's precipitation, the last time Las Vegas recorded rainfall was on Sept. 13, 2017. The previous record of 101 days without rain was broken on Dec. 24. The new record continued to extend beyond the first week of 2018 to 116 days before ending on Monday. Today's light rainfall could continue into Tuesday, according to the seven-day Las Vegas weather forecast.
