Russian born guest curator, Valentin Yordanov, has traveled the world with his art. After receiving his Master of Fine Arts degree, he was honored with a grant to study at the Bucharest National Academy of Arts, Romania. He has exhibited internationally; however, he now calls Las Vegas home.
Valentin is a contemporary explorer whose geometrical abstract paintings act like a travelogue, impressions of locations he visits or dreams about. Mountains, roads, rails and raising construction offer a dynamical view of a changing environment around us. Valentin is inspired by the phenomena of urban generation, globalization and changing environment.
