LAS VEGAS, NV — July 4 is quickly approaching, which means it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. Though it is the Casinos that usually boast dazzling fireworks shows that drew around 300,000 people last year, the 2020 Independence Day fireworks will certainly look different. Those same casinos are just now beginning to reopen, and so are unsure if they will proceed with their usual pyrotechnic displays. Already, two of the largest July 4 parades that occur in Boulder City and Summerlin have been scrapped, replaced by virtual events. Though the Las Vegas Aviator's post-game July 4 fireworks display has yet to be officially cancelled, it is not likely to happen. Casinos and resorts are doing their best to reopen under governmental guidelines to ensure the safety of all of their customers.
