Fleury Gets Win No. 400, Knights Beat Flyers In Philly
The Vegas Golden Knights ended a five game road trip by beating Philadelphia 3-2 Monday night.

With Marc-Andre Fleury in net, the Vegas Golden Knights knocked off the Flyers 3-2 in Philadelphia Monday night. In the process, Fleury made a little bit of history, becoming just the 13th goalie in NHL history to reach 400 career wins.
The 33-year old Fleury came to the expansion Golden Knights with three Stanley Cup titles on his resume and has provided a stabilizing veteran presence throughout the season. When asked about the milestone after the game, he did his best to deflect the recognition.
"It's nice, you know? But it's something I'll be more proud about when I'm done, I think. I'm still playing and always looking forward to the next game," he told reporters after the game. "It's a nice number to reach."

Fleury certainly earned win No. 400. He stopped 38 of 40 shots the Flyers put on him Monday night. In becoming part of the 400 Win Club, he joins (in order) Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy, Ed Belfour, Roberto Luongo, Curtis Joseph, Terry Sawchuk, Jacques Plante, Henrik Lundqvist, Tony Esposito, Glenn Hall, Grant Fuhr, and Chris Osgood.
"All guys I have tremendous respect for, and that I looked up to growing up. So it's pretty cool to have my name with them now," Fleury said.

Ryan Carpenter's eighth goal of the season was the decisive score on Monday. He beat Flyers' goalie Petr Mrazek with 2:40 left in the third period and the Golden Knights defense held back a late Flyers charge to seal the victory.
The win in Philadelphia was the final leg of a five game road trip for the Golden Knights that started after the uncharacteristically losing consecutive games at home on Feb. 27 and March 2. They responded by winning four out of five games on the eight day swing.
That trip started with a 3-2 win in New Jersey on March 4. The Devils will have their shot at revenge when they travel to Las Vegas to play the Knights Wednesday. The Golden Knights will play four straight games at T-Mobile Arena against the Devils, Wild, Flames, and Canucks.
