Four Candidates Will Interview For CCSD Superintendent

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Board of Trustees for Clark County School District decided to interview four candidates for the district's superintendent position during a meeting on Wednesday.
Seventy-seven people applied for the position and the names of the four candidates who will receive interviews will be released later this week, The Nevada Independent reported. The school district hired Ray and Associates, Inc., and Iowa-based firm that specializes in educational executive leadership searches, to screen the candidates.
Three interviews will take place on Friday, April 13 starting at 9 a.m.. The fourth candidate will be interviewed on Monday, April 16 at 6 p.m. Additionally, community meetings will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. and Monday, April 16 at 11:30 a.m.

Trustees will vote on a new superintendent during a special meeting on Thursday, April 19 at 5:30 p.m.
Members of the public can submit questions to the candidates by emailing superintendentsearch@nv.ccsd.net. The meeting will be live streamed at www.ccsd.net.
