Golden Knights Returning Home After Long, Successful Road Swing
After a six-game road trip, the Vegas Golden Knights are returning to Las Vegas for seven straight games at T-Mobile Arena.

LAS VEGAS, NV - After a length 10-day road trip that included six games, the Vegas Golden Knights are on their way back home for a Sunday showdown against the Philadelphia Flyers. It was a successful that started in Calgary on Jan. 30 and ended Thursday in San Jose. The Knights went 4-2 and picked up eight points and remain the Western Conference's best team with a 36-14-4 record and 76 points.
The road swing ended in San Jose with a 5-3 win over the Sharks. Thursday's win seemed to involve everyone. Five different Golden Knights scored a goal.
"I wouldn't say it was our best game of the road trip. We definitely had some struggles, but at the end of the day good teams find a way to win and that's always awesome," said Jonathan Marchessault, who scored his 20th goal of the season on a power play in the third period.

Joining Marchessault in finding the net were Erik Haula (21), William Karlsson (29), Brayden McNabb (3), and James Neal (24).
Vegas head coach Gerard Gallant agreed with Marchessault's assessment of how the road trip ended, crediting goalie Marc-Andre Fleury for keeping the game tied 1-1 after a sluggish first period Thursday night.

"We came out sleeping a little bit tonight and they dominated the first period," Gallant said. "After that I thought we played real well the rest of the game and found a way to get two big points."
The Golden Knights now return to T-Mobile Arena for the longest homestand of the season - a seven-game stretch lasting from Feb. 11 to Feb. 23.
The Golden Knights will host the Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens, Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, and Vancouver Canucks over the next two weeks in Las Vegas.
Sunday's game against Philadelphia starts at 5 p.m.
