Las Vegas Police Officers Identified In Friday Fatal Shooting
Two Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officers are on leave after a shooting during a traffic stop Friday that killed a man.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Two officers involved in a Friday morning shooting that killed a man in Las Vegas have been identified. The two officers are Francisco Rivera, 28, and Padilla Mills, 23.
Both officers have been employed with LVMPD since May 2016 and are on paid leave during the department's investigation of the incident.
Metro police say that on Friday, April 6, the officers shot a man who got out of his vehicle during a traffic stop on Madge Ln. and pointed a gun at them. The shooting was third fatal officer involved shooting, and fifth overall, for LVMPD in 2018.
