Las Vegas Shooting: Timeline For The Route 91 Harvest Festival Attack
Las Vegas police provide a minute-by-minute breakdown as the attack on the Route 91 Harvest Festival unfolded on Sunday.

LAS VEGAS, NV — The following is a timeline for the mass shooting attack on Sunday at the country music concert, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
- 10:05 p.m.: First shots fired by suspect Stephen Paddock. This was seen on closed-circuit video from the concert venue.
- 10:12 p.m.: First two officers arrive on the 31st floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino and report gunfire coming from the floor directly above them.
- 10:15 p.m.: The last shots are fired by Paddock, according to body cameras worn by officers.
- 10:17 p.m.: The first two officers arrive on the 32nd floor of the hotel.

- 10:18 p.m. Hotel security officer tells officers he was shot and gives officers exact location of the hotel room.
- 10:26 to 10:30 p.m.: Eight more officers arrive on the 32nd floor and begin to move systematically down the hallway, clearing every room and looking for injured people. They no longer hear gunfire coming from the active shooter.
- 10:55 p.m.: Eight officers arrive in the stairwell at the opposite end of the hallway near Paddock’s hotel suite.
- 11:20 p.m.: Officers blast their way into Paddock’s room and find Paddock’s body on the floor. Officers also found a second door, which could not be accessed.
- 11:27 p.m.: Officers blast their way into the second room. Officers realize no one else was in the suite and radio that the suspect “was down."
