My current job is I am a local yoga & tai-chi instructor & my focus is to help our community come together to be safer, happier, & more peaceful. Tell us something interesting about yourself that few people know.
I enjoy video games, art, & music. When I have spare time I paint or sketch, & I practice playing on my cello or kalimba.
What are your favorite things about living in your community?
Even though the heat can be terribly exhausting, I enjoy our sunsets & cool nights. I love how everything is pretty close by or a 15-20 minute drive to find something to do. I enjoy spending time with family & friends.
What's your favorite restaurant in town, and what do you order there?
9 Thai restaurant: Love all the food, but the Tom Kha & Tom Yum is the best I've had in town!
Sushi Koma: Best sushi & great price. Staff is great
Buldogis: A+ hot dogs & korean fusion food. Crave this place all the time. This tops Dirt Dog 100% in my opinion.
What do you think are the biggest local issues facing your community?
I feel like our neighborhood expansion is starting to be concerning. Since it is now spreading into our hiking/nature areas.
What's a good life hack for navigating your community?
I tend to rely on recommendations or word of mouth for services & suggestions.
Do you have any goals or hopes for the future of your community? Tell us about them.
A hope of mine is to create a community group that shares advice, tips, or suggestions to each other. A community where we can all communicate easily & well with each other to make connecting to new people or finding new things much simpler.
If you've learned one thing for sure in life, what is it?
Things are going to work out. Maybe not exactly like you expected or wanted, but in the way that you need.
Anything else you'd like to say?
Since I am a yoga instructor, I would love to offer free coaching to anyone that needs a little help with fitness, relaxation, or just someone to talk to! Would love to connect & support our community!
