Merryhill Preschool Summerlin Students in Las Vegas Plant Gardens

Students planted vegetables and herbs in their garden in celebration of Earth Day

On April 22, students at Merryhill Preschool Summerlin in Las Vegas celebrated Earth Day by planting vegetables and herbs in gardens around the schoolyard. During the afternoon, students also received a visit from Deputy Drip from the Southern Nevada Water Authority, who taught the students about water conservation. Students will continue to tend to the gardens and watch them grow throughout the spring. Merryhill Preschool Summerlin teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
