Nevadans Love This Dog Breed The most
When it comes to dogs, Nevadans, and Americans, have a favorite type of breed.

LAS VEGAS, NV - For the fifth consecutive year, the three most popular types of dogs held their spots on the American Kennel Club's annual list ranking the most popular dog breeds. Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers were ranked 1-2-3 respectively on the 2017 list, as they have appeared in order since 2013.
Rounding out the top five were French Bulldogs (No. 4) and Bulldogs (No. 5). Beagles lost their spot in the top five, dropping from No. 5 to No. 6.
Nevada fell in line with the national trend. Labrador Retrievers was the most popular dog breed in the Silver State.

“The sweet-faced, lovable Labrador retriever is America’s most popular dog breed,” the AKC says. “Labs are friendly, outgoing, and high-spirited companions who have more than enough affection to go around for a family looking for a medium-to-large dog.”
