Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Car In Las Vegas
A 66-year old man died after being hit while on a Las Vegas sidewalk Wednesday afternoon, police said.
LAS VEGAS, NV - A 66-year old pedestrian was killed in Las Vegas Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred on Harbor Island Dr. at around 1:30 p.m. on April 4, police said.
According to a Metro release, the driver of the vehicle traveling northbound veered off the road and struck the pedestrian who was near the sidewalk and curb area. The man died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and impairment is not suspected. The incident is the 31st traffic-related fatality Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have investigated in 2018.
