Project Neon: Oakey Blvd. Reopening Tuesday Morning

A Project Neon closure will reopen on Tuesday, but more shutdowns will take place later in the week.

LAS VEGAS, NV - A Project Neon closure that went into effect Friday night is scheduled to reopen tomorrow morning. Oakey Blvd. near Interstate 15 was shut down Friday, March 30 at 10 p.m. over Easter weekend. That portion of the road is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, April 3 at 5 a.m.

Oakey Blvd. will be reopened just ahead of two more Project Neon closures that will take place this week. The I-15 northbound ramp to US-95 southbound will close on overnight on Wednesday, April 4 and Thursday, April 5. The closures will being at 9 p.m. on both nights and last until 6 a.m. the following morning.

Portions of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Alta Dr. will also close over the weekend. Starting on Friday, April 6 at 10 p.m., MLK Blvd. will be closed between Bonanza Rd. and Mineral Ave.; and Alta Dr. will be closed between MLK Blvd. and LV Premium Outlet Dr. The roads will each reopen Monday, April 9 at 5 a.m.
