Robbery Suspects Caught With Public's Help, Police Say

Three suspects in string of robberies last week have been arrested by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police

LAS VEGAS, NV - Three robbery suspects who were caught on camera robbing a taxi with a weapon in a vehicle have been arrested. The men were suspects in a string of robberies across the Las Vegas Valley at the beginning of April.

Steven Warren, his father John Warren, and Matthew Amthor were arrested by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. Steven Warren faces four counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, five counts of burglary while in possession of a gun, one count of grand larceny auto, one count of attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of battery with a deadly weapon, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. John Warren and Amthor are both facing one count of grand larceny auto, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary while in possession of a gun, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

"Several media releases and social media post (sic) were put out with pictures of the suspects in a robbery involving a taxi cab driver. Information received from the public greatly assisted detectives in locating and capturing the three suspects" a Metro release said.
