Students at Merryhill Preschool Summerlin Raise More Than $1,000
Students held a lemonade stand to raise funds and awareness for children with cancer
Students at Merryhill Preschool Summerlin in Las Vegas recently held a lemonade stand and raised $1,185 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a national childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research into new treatments and cures for all children battling cancer. Pre-kindergarten students staffed the stand and sold lemonade and baked goods to fellow students, their families, teachers and staff. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping children in need.
