Suspect Fires Two Rounds In Las Vegas Bank Robbery: Police
A man robbed a Las Vegas bank Tuesday afternoon, then fired two rounds into the ceiling on his way out, police said.
LAS VEGAS, NV - A man robbed a Bank of America in Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon, making off with cash and firing two rounds into the ceiling of the building on his way out, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.
Police said the robbery occurred on Tuesday, April 17 around 4:13 p.m. Surveillance footage captured the suspect wearing a black ski mask, black leather jacket, and black pants. He used a black handgun during the robbery. After demanding money from the employee, the suspect shot two rounds towards the ceiling. He fled the bank, located at 4080 W. Spring Mountain Rd., in a gray Ford Focus with tinted windows. The vehicle is also missing the front driver's side hub cap.
A Metro release did not indicate anybody was injured during the incident.
