Future UNLV Football Headquarters Breaks Ground
The Fertitta Football Complex will be the state of the art home of the day-to-day operations of UNLV football.

LAS VEGAS, NV - On Tuesday, UNLV broke ground on a new $28 million home for the school's football program. The complex will be the team's everyday headquarters and will feature a locker room, an academic center, offices, meeting rooms, training facilities, media room, nutrition bar, a weight room, and players lounge.
The school believes the Fertitta Football Complex will help attract future athletes to the school and will give the current athletes "the tools needed to improve athletically and academically." The complex will be two-stories tall and 73,000 square feet when completed.
On Monday, Las Vegas Sands donated $1 million to the facility. The donation from Vegas casino tycoon Sheldon Adelson puts the total amount of dollars committed towards the project above $22 million. The Fertitta family of Las Vegas pledged $10 million to the facility in Sept. 2016.
