Van Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Tuesday Morning In Las Vegas
Police do not suspect the driver of a van that struck and killed a pedestrian on a Las Vegas sidewalk was under the influence.

LAS VEGAS, NV - A man was killed pushing a shopping cart on a sidewalk on S. Decatur Blvd. Tuesday morning, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.
According to police, the collision occurred at 6:50 a.m. when a van traveling south on Decatur Blvd. when it suddenly veered onto the sidewalk and struck a 56-year old man, killing him. The driver of the van was taken to University Medical Center and treated for minor injuries. Police don't suspect the driver was under the influence of any drugs.
The death is the 10th fatal traffic collision LVMPD has investigated so far in 2018.
