Wanted Suspect Who Barricaded Himself Now In Custody: Police

A man who barricaded himself in a Las Vega business Thursday morning has been arrested, police said.

LAS VEGAS, NV - A wanted suspect has barricaded himself inside of a business in the area of Charleston Blvd. and Maryland Pkwy. in Las Vegas, according to police.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say "detectives were following up on information about a wanted suspect" around 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 12. Police found the suspect, who then fled on foot and into a business. Police do not believe any employees or customers are currently inside of the building with the suspect.

UPDATE (10:01 a.m.): The suspect has been arrested by police officers without incident, according to LVMPD.
