Batteries Plus Bulbs Expands in Reno with Second Area Store
Specialty batteries, light bulbs and phone repair retailer opens for Reno residents
According to a nationwide survey conducted by Batteries Plus Bulbs, the nation's only battery, light bulb and phone repair franchise, 31 percent of Americans have broken their phone in the past year, but 65 percent don't have insurance to cover the repairs.
With the opening of the specialty retailer's second store in Reno, locals will have more access to product experts and a wide array of specialized options for fixing phones, as well as purchasing automotive batteries and key cutting/programming services, powering essential electronics, and lighting homes and businesses. The new location, like all Batteries Plus Bulbs stores, will offer an unrivaled product selection, in-stock availability, and customer service.
The store, located at 10580 N. McCarran, is the fourth for owner Don Vergilio, who has been operating with Batteries Plus Bulbs since 1999.

“Our product offering has continued to grow with client demand. We started out just focused on car batteries, but over the years we have grown to handle most household batteries, chargers, phone repairs and light bulbs,” said Don. “I am looking forward to continuing to make an impact in the area with this new store by offering solutions for the community and becoming a valuable resource for our customers.”
Batteries Plus Bulbs provides access to nearly 60,000 different types of batteries, light bulbs and related products for all household and business needs. The specialty retailer offers consumers the convenience of Buy Online, Pick Up in Store for purchases, as well as a suite of services through their We Fix It® Repair Centers. Centers repair phones and tablets, including iPhone® and iPad® devices, most Samsung devices, Beats by Dre® headphones (Beats Solo HD and Beats Solo 2), replace watch, keyless entry and phone batteries, rebuild battery packs, and more.

In addition, Batteries Plus Bulbs currently has over 740 open stores in 47 states and Puerto Rico and serves more than 13.7 million customers annually. The retailer sells more than 87 million batteries, light bulbs, and phone/tablet screens each year.
