Boomtown Murder Suspect Arrested In California
A suspect is Monday's fatal shooting at Boomtown Casino has been arrested while on the run in California, RPD said.

RENO, NV - A man police identified as a suspect in a Monday shooting at Boomtown Casino has been arrested in Concord, CA and is awaiting extradition to Nevada, according to Reno Police Department.
RPD identified 50-year old Christopher Meecham of Reno as the suspect the day after the Feb. 26 shooting. Police allege that Meecham shot and killed a 53-year old Reno man. According to an RPD release, homicide detectives learned that Meecham was on the run in California. The Concord Police Department arrested Meecham on a murder charge Wednesday, Feb. 28 and RPD homicide detectives traveled to California after his arrest "to continue the investigation."
