Student Detained For Bringing Weapon To Reno Middle School: WCSD
A "Code Red" was issued and lifted at Pine Middle School on Thursday. A student had a weapon on campus, a school official said.

RENO, NV - A student was detained for allegedly bringing a weapon to Pine Middle School in Reno on Thursday, a school official said. No injuries were reported and school was let out at its regularly scheduled time.
The incident prompted a "Code Red" lockdown that was briefly in effect Thursday afternoon. The lockdown was announced by Washoe County School District at 1:34 p.m. and lifted by 2 p.m.
"We have just let (parents) know that the Code Red has been lifted, all students and staff members are safe," Washoe County School District public information officer Victoria Campbell said.
