Reno Resident Killed In Single Car Crash Identified

RENO, NV - Chae Ik Baek, a 79-year old Reno resident, has been identified as the victim in a single car accident that occurred on Jan. 8 on S. McCarran Blvd. He was killed when his white Volvo suddenly veered off the road and struck a concrete wall at approximately 9:30 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and Reno police are still investigating the crash, according to a Wednesday release. Foul play is not suspected, but Reno police said there may be witnesses to the crash that have not been interviewed.
