Reno Shootout That Left 1 Dead Was Gang Related, Police Say
Police are saying a shooting that killed a woman may have been related to a gang altercation.

RENO, NV - Reno Police have released additional details about a Feb. 4 homicide, saying a shooting that left a 35-year old woman dead "appears to be justifiable homicide," stemming from a gang confrontation.
According to police, the woman who was killed drove to a home near Beech St. and Bartlett St. with several other people police are calling "armed suspects." Those individuals confronted a "victim group" and gunfire ensued. Kendra Lethcho was found dead at the scene and a man police say is associated with her was taken to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police say that both groups involved in the shootout have gang affiliations.
