
RENO, NV - We knew it was going to be a nice week in Reno, but record breaking? That's exactly what happened today, as the National Weather Service in Reno reported a record high temperature for Jan. 30.
At 68 degrees, it was the hottest Reno has ever been on this date, surpassing the old record high of 65 degrees in 2003.
The weather service also reported record high temperatures South Lake Tahoe. Temperatures there reached 58 degrees today, passing the previous record of 54 degrees for Jan. 30 reached in 1989 and 2012.

New Record High temperature of 68 degrees so far this afternoon at Reno Airport, easily surpassing the old record of 65 degrees for this date which occurred in 2003.
